Just a few of my favourite drafts so far for my Design and Image Poster Design project. For the assignment I have to create a poster for an event at York by using a bag of feathers and the 400 word virgin unicorn story that I was given and make a nice composition. You might be wondering, i see the feathers, but unicorn? whaaat? Well, I figured that Id be all representational and instead of placing real unicorn imagery (gross) i would somehow allude to the idea of uni by having the single different feather in the composition. Its pretty BS reasoning, but fuck it, ARTISTIC FREEDOM BITCHES. Anyways, these are my first drafts...the last one is my faaaaave.

Im not very clever when it comes to making things in Illustrator. I do however, love birds.

Arabic Calligraphy.

This is the poster i submitted for my final typography assignment (a poster for an exhibit at the ROM). Compared to those submitted in class, this one was definitely different, but I got pretty good reviews from people in class and from Ed as well. The only thing I would change would be the type setting on the title, as its a bit bland in comparison to what i could have possibly done with it. Otherwise, Im pretty content with it and hope i get a damn good mark.

but that I was also literally upset and confused about how awful the kerning is on this book. Someone move those I's to fit properly between the H-C and S-G's please? Pleeeeeeease? The irony is overwhelming
